Slow Food Christmas Fiesta
Saturday 29th November 10 – 5pm
Apart from the all the fabulous food and artisan makers’ stalls and programme of Festive Round Table Chats do take a look at our ‘hands-on’ workshops that take place on the day too.
‘Design & Make a Festive Door Wreath‘ Sessions at 10.30am and 1.30pm with Jade from Seven Seeds. Together with Jade you will create beautiful, bountiful wreaths using fragrant firs and spruce, seasonal berries, and finishing touches like velvet ribbons, pine cones, acorns, bells and a hint of glitter. Expect an easy-going atmosphere, and gloriously lush wreaths to take home and hang on your door or mantel piece.
Enjoy tea, coffee and festive nibbles as you work, all materials are provided so you can design your perfect Christmas wreath from start to finish. Price per person is £50, for more information and booking please see Jade’s website here.
The ‘Travelling Weaver’ Sophie Francis will also be running two workshops:
10.30am ‘Make your own Willow Holder’ You will learn how to make a beautiful and useful willow holder for garlic, ginger, herbs or even fat balls for the birds.
1pm ‘Make your own ‘Willow Scandi Star’, make a stunning Scandi star that will look beautiful over the festive period and all year round.
Both workshops are suitable for beginners and will include a maximum of six participants. Your tutor Sophie Francis is an experienced willow weaver and tutor. Cost is £40 including all materials.
