The Olive Farm
In 2004 we bought a dilapidated farm and spent four years breathing new life into this rural idyll. Every comfort has been anticipated so you can be assured of a relaxing stay. There are two double bedrooms, both ensuite, and it comfortably accommodates four guests.
New for 2026: For larger parties the Hayloft is now available as an add-on. It sleeps two in a mezzanine bedroom above a spacious sitting room and a bathroom. It has its own entrance, a/c and wifi.
The property has been renovated to provide every modern convenience while retaining the rustic charm of the trullo, with exposed stone vaulted ceilings and natural organic tones throughout. Both bedrooms can be dressed as twins or king-size doubles and each has its own private bathroom. The kitchen’s well appointed with lots of cookery books to inspire your Italian feast, and there’s a sitting room with dining table opening to the terrace.
The wide terrace has rolling views of the surrounding countryside and there are five acres of land where you can hug an ancient olive tree. It’s a truly rural setting with every modern convenience, yet just a short drive to the nearest town and half an hour away from a superb choice of beaches.
Our large 11x5m saltwater swimming pool is situated adjacent to the house where there are plenty of sun loungers and a large gazebo to provide lots of shade. It’s sympathetically fenced to help keep small children safe, with Roman steps to enter it and an extended shallow end.

Location
The Olive Farm is located between the towns of Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca and Cisternino. The Adriatic coast can be reached in half an hour and the Ionian coast in under an hour. It’s about 45 minutes from Brindisi airport and 90 minutes from Bari.
What we love
The Olive Farm was a dream that we made come true and it was our home for 13 years. Now dividing our time between Worcestershire and Puglia, we’re loving our double life selling our olive oil at farmers’ markets in the UK and reconnecting with life in Italy.
