On Thursday 26 February I’ll be heading to one of my favourite places – beautiful Ludlow in the wilds of Shropshire. It somehow avoided the building culls of the 1960s and 70s so is awash with the most gorgeous buildings all higgledy piggledy in the lanes around this lovely little town.
Heralded by a medieval castle, the ancient Market Square hosts the Local to Ludlow farmers market twice a month where makers and producers from a 30-mile radius come and sell their wares.
I’ll be there with my Rustic Puglia extra virgin olive oil and other wonderful olivey things.
The Local to Ludlow market runs from 9am to 2pm on the second and fourth Thursday of the month.
