Everywhere you look there seems to be some kind of foraging for wild foods and early on Sunday morning Andy was invited by some Italian friends to go mushroom picking in nearby woods. He came back with a basket full of lots of different varieties, his haul having been checked over to make sure he hadn’t picked anything deadly, and made a delicious wild mushroom and walnut soup.
