Enjoying snacks in the sunshine
It’s mid-November and for the last week it’s been so warm we’ve enjoyed lunch outside in the sunshine, temperatures often reaching 20 degrees. Today the children (and Ember!) enjoyed a snack outside on the steps in front of the Trullo before going to nearby Locorotondo, not to sample its famous white wine but to go to the playground there. Once the sun goes down the temperature soon drops and the wood that Andy cut in the spring pruning the trees is keeping us warm at night, with the fire heating the water that serves our radiators meaning that we don’t burn gas.
